Getting certified as a Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE),Locally Based Enterprise (LBE) or Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) gives you exclusive access to opportunities to sell to government, networking events, and inclusion in the City's Online Directory of Certified Businesses. Certified firms also benefit from access to:  

  • Strategic Steps for Growth  – A nine-month executive business management education program to help participants develop a strategic plan for growth using advice from business leaders, a sounding board of other entrepreneurs, and classes using their own businesses as real-life business case studies
  • Corporate Alliance Program (CAP)  – Access expertise from and learn how to do business with 10 corporate partners:

How to Get Certified?

Understand the process by registering for one of our FREE Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise Certification Workshops. Afterwards, a meeting with trained certification analysts will guide you through the certification process so you can get your application right the first time.
