| October 07, 2008 to October 18, 2008 "A Wrinkle in Time" assembles work by twelve Brooklyn-affiliated artists who respond to the barrage of monumental dates and events in modern American history. With work in widely varying media, these artists recontextualize current events through the lens of personal experience and perception to offer alternate visions of geography, landscape, media, along with consumerism and other cultural conventions. The inaugural annual thematic exhibition curated from BRIC Rotunda's Artist Registry, "A Wrinkle in Time" recognizes promising artists and presents a fresh look at emerging trends in the visual arts. Curated by Baseera Khan and Johanna Taylor. The Artist Registry is open to any visual artist who lives, works, or was born in Brooklyn.
