What does your business do? When and Why did you join the Brooklyn Chamber?
We are manufacturers of a variety of lines of fine food products that are distributed nationwide to almost every major retail chain store across America as well as to club and membership stores. We’ve been in business since 1935 and are based in East New York.
Our VP of International Sales Dan Swartz joined the Chamber in June 2004 to show support for Brooklyn and to gain assistance for our company’s entrance into the global marketplace.

How has your Brooklyn Chamber membership assisted your business?
"I joined the Chamber’s Brooklyn Goes Global (BGG) in the Dominican Republic at a 2004 trade show. We displayed our full line of ice tea and other beverages, breadcrumbs, breads, cheeses, soup mixes and seasoned coating mixes. We developed a relationship with a distributor at the show that resulted in our securing a contract to ship a container of our products to the Dominican Republic. Over the last year or so we’ve become involved with the BGG program participating in about three different food shows plus a meeting with delegates from the China Beverage Industry Association and China-based beverage companies. BGG provides our company with both national and international exposure and marketing assistance. We couldn’t ask for a better result than our products being sold overseas in supermarkets, mom and pop grocery stores and the hotel trade."
