Real Estate & Development (RED) Committee
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's Real Estate & Development (RED) Committee is a group of Chamber Member volunteers from the real estate, development and finance communities that actively works together to identify borough-wide opportunities for business attraction and retention.

News & Research
The Brooklyn Chamber's RED Committee Members share proprietary real estate news and research at select Chamber meetings and events.  Its Member property owners are encouraged to register their commercial/retail, industrial or residential properties with the Chamber's Space Bank to connect them with prospective buyers and tenants.

“RED” Events
The Chamber's RED Committee organizes a series of events throughout the year to support and promote real estate and development initiatives across the borough:

• Real Green! Meet the Experts on Energy held on April 1, 2010, was the second in a series of "RED Goes Green" sustainable building events presented by the RED Committee.  Click here to view the slides from the event (in PDF format) to learn more.
• Building Brooklyn Awards™ – This annual fundraising event recognizes new and renovation projects that have a positive impact on the borough’s economy and quality of life.  The event also honors individuals who have made significant contributions toward enhancing the business conditions and economic climate of Brooklyn.
• “RED” Seminars and Workshops – The Chamber hosts periodic educational seminars and workshops serving real estate professionals in Brooklyn and the metro area.
• “RED” Site Tours – The Chamber hosts site tours led by industry experts that highlight new trends and developments in the borough.
• “RED Nites” – These fun and informal after-hours networking events for real estate professionals are held in new developments in emerging residential neighborhoods and commercial districts.
• “RED” Road Show – The Chamber periodically conducts presentations about major construction projects to trade associations and companies promoting investment opportunities in the borough.
