GridMarket is working to help businesses and facilities in Brooklyn and beyond transition to cleaner, less expensive energy sources in order to save money and protect our environment while promoting economic development.
GridMarket CEO, Nick Davis, is Brooklyn born and raised – as are several other members of the company’s tight-knit, NYC-based team. Since obtaining a Master’s Degree in natural resources economics, he has dedicated his entire career to the green transformation of our energy infrastructure. Although GridMarket is now working on energy projects across the country and as far as the Pacific Islands, the company was born in NYC (through a public-private partnership with Con Edison, NYSERDA and NYC EDC) and the team is passionate about bringing Brooklyn to the forefront of the clean energy movement while helping Brooklyn businesses reap the benefits offered by distributed energy resources.
We are very proud to be part of the Brooklyn Chamber and hope our fellow members will reach out to learn about the benefits of distributed energy resources (DERs) and how GridMarket can help you take maximum advantage of DER technologies (solar PV, battery storage, fuel cells, CHP, etc.) to realize savings, increase property value, reduce energy consumption and increase resiliency, while making a positive contribution to our environment. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a clean, distributed, and affordable energy system and our process includes: a free opportunity assessment of a property or portfolio’s DER potential; recommendations as to best-fit technologies, design and financing options; sourcing of competitive bids from trusted top-tier DER solutions providers; and support and technical assistance through vendor selection, securing incentives and subsidies, contract negotiation, and project installation.
To get a peek at preliminary estimates for your property’s savings potential through various DERs type your address into our property tool here.
